This wine matured in new French and Romanian oak barrels for six months. It has a pomegranate red color. This wine is complex. It is fruity, with hints of red and black cherries, and also slightly spicy with fine nuances of dark chocolate. It is wonderfully full and harmonious wine. It pairs well with red meat cooked in a wine sauce. It also pairs well with oven vegetables, lamb steak, and dolmas (a Moldovan dish).
